E-mail Print

Anyone who has driven in Las Vegas on a Friday night understands that this is a time of the week when the city is teeming with visitors, drivers who are unfamiliar with the area and pedestrians who are out and about seeing the city.  Unfortunately, it’s also a time of the week when disaster can strike because of these circumstances.  That appears to be what occurred on Friday night when a woman was critically injured in a Las Vegas pedestrian accident.

Man Critically Injured in Las Vegas Bicycle Accident

E-mail Print

Las Vegas is an area of the country where riding a bicycle is a common activity for many reasons.  The weather is made for this type of exercise and the relatively flat terrain is also amenable to those who prefer to either travel or exercise on two wheels.  Unfortunately, bicyclists also must share the road with motorists, and this can lead to serious problems.  That reality was reinforced last week when a man was critically injured in a Las Vegas bicycle accident.

For many reasons, larger vehicles have been selling well in the United States for the past 20 years.  One of those reasons is that these vehicles obviously make it easier to travel in large groups, but unfortunately many of these models are also prone to rollover crashes when something goes wrong.  Tragically, that appears to be what occurred on Christmas Eve when one person was killed and seven others were injured in a Nevada rollover accident.

People who get behind the wheel of vehicles encounter several different driving environments every day.  Most of these environments are negotiated without a problem, but when people encounter intersections, everything must go right or disaster can result.  Unfortunately, something went terribly wrong on Friday when one driver was critically injured in a head-on Las Vegas car accident that occurred at an intersection.  Police are still investigating the incident.

NTSB Still Not Sure What Caused Deadly Nevada Helicopter Accident

E-mail Print

Helicopter tours have been popular with tourists for many years, and this pastime allows visitors to see more of a place than if they simply drove around or walked.  In addition, riding in a helicopter can be a thrill for anyone.  Unfortunately, helicopter crashes can and do occur, and tragically five people were killed two weeks ago in a Nevada helicopter accident that still seems to have federal investigators searching for clues.
