According to the Las Vegas Sun:

"A man injured in a fight was lying in the parking lot of a convenience store waiting for an ambulance Wednesday when a car pulled in and ran him over, Metro Police said.

The 43-year-old man, whose name was not released, was taken to University Medical Center with critical injuries, police said.

The driver of the car, a 34-year-old Las Vegas man, was taken into custody, and the accident remained under investigation, police said.

Witnesses detained the driver of the car until police arrived, officials said."
