1. The driver of any motor vehicle when traveling upon a downgrade shall not coast with the gears of such vehicle in neutral.

2. The driver of a commercial motor vehicle when traveling upon a downgrade shall not coast with the clutch disengaged.

This Nevada statute provides that a driver shall not coast with the vehicles gears in neutral nor shall a commercial vehicle when traveling on a downgrade coast with the clutch disengaged. A driver who violates this statute may be deemed by the court to have committed “negligence per se”.
