Driving on mountain highway. NRS 484.457

The driver of a motor vehicle traveling through defiles or canyons or on mountain highways shall hold such motor vehicle under control and as near the right hand edge of the highway as reasonably possible.

This Nevada statute provides for the proper method of driving on mountain highways. A driver who violates this statute may be deemed by the court to have committed “negligence per se”.
