Mr. Bourgault received a B.S. degree from Arizona State University in 1969. He then attended the University of San Diego School of Law and received a Juris Doctorate degree in 1973. That same year, he was admitted to practice Law in the State Courts of California and the U.S. District Court of California. He was then admitted to practice Law in Nevada in 1977 where he has maintained an active practice in personal injury litigation.
Mr. Bourgault is a member of the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the Nevada State Courts, the U.S. District Court in Nevada and the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Bourgault also served on the Nevada Medical Malpractice screening panel and has been a speaker at continuing legal education courses in Nevada regarding Personal Injury Litigation.
During his career, Mr. Bourgault has represented hundreds of clients at arbitration hearings pursuant to both the mandatory arbitration program in Nevada and private arbitrations. He has represented clients in medical malpractice cases, wrongful death cases, product liability cases, automobile accident cases, pedestrian accident cases, dog bite cases, slip/trip and fall cases.
Mr. Bourgault practices primarily in the area of dispute resolution through the use of arbitration and mediation.
Mr. Bourgault has also been able to successfully negotiate many cases without the necessity of formal litigation.
